Can I install new PAX doors on my PAX trunk purchased in 2012 or earlier?
Yes, you can! We encourage reuse, but recommend buying new frames for an optimal solution.
We upgraded the PAX range in 2012, which resulted in a change in the hinge attachment point. This has no practical significance, other than that the old hinges can be more difficult to dismantle.
When the cabinet is closed, you will not see any difference. If you open the cabinet, the hinges are not as neat as on new frames. This has no bearing on the functionality itself.
