Rattan: If placed close to a radiator or other source of heat, the material can dry out and deteriorate.
Rattan is happiest in dry, cool environments with an even temperature.
Check regularly that all assembly fastenings/screws are properly tightened and retighten them when necessary.

The cabinet was easy to assemble and has a good footprint. The wicker weave looks great. There is plenty of room to store and the doors open wide, so you can get access to everything at once. I recommend.
