E-cargo bike for hire

Some IKEA stores hire out e-cargo bikes. This gives you an environmentally friendly way of getting your purchases home.

Contact our customer service staff in any of the following IKEA stores.

  • IKEA Dortmund
  • IKEA Hamburg-Moorfleet
  • IKEA Magdeburg
  • IKEA Wuppertal

Prices

The first three hours are free. Each additional hour will be charged; varying prices and conditions apply at our IKEA stores. Contact our customer service staff for details.

Hire an e-cargo bike from Freetrailer

E-cargo bikes are only available for registration and hire through Freetrailer at the following IKEA stores

  • IKEA Braunschweig
  • IKEA Hamburg-Altona
  • IKEA Hanau
  • IKEA Karlsruhe
  • IKEA Osnabrück

Prices

The first three hours are free if you book at the store and immediately before use. To do this, share your location in the Freetrailer app. 

Otherwise, Freetrailer charges a reservation fee of €4.

Each additional hour costs €5. 

 

Requirements

  • You need to be at least eighteen.
  • Simply install the Freetrailer app on your smartphone.
