Product details

The upholstered seat and comfortable angle of the backrest make the chair perfect for long dinners.

Upholstered chair seat distributes your body weight and reduces pressure on the sitting bone.

The armrest has removeable covers for easy washing.

The seat cushion can be removed to wipe crumbs or dirt off the chair seat.

The armrests are long enough to provide support when you lean back and short enough to allow you to sit as close to the table as you like when eating.

The chair can be pushed under the table so that it takes up less space when not in use.

Solid wood chair frame makes the construction durable and very sturdy.

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

“I was asked to design a dining collection with high comfort, iconic Scandinavian design and a perfect balance between form, function and quality. Inspired by nature, I created the VEDBO series with an armchair that reminds of a cosy bird’s nest and an elliptic table that harmonizes with the soft, organic shapes of the chairs. I wanted a matte table surface with the feel of stone. Luckily, we found a pressed laminate with these features, and it really adds to the quality feel.”
