According to the motto "Let's plan your home together", an IKEA planning studio offers help in finding, planning and ordering IKEA furnishing solutions. Close to our customers, the new format serves as an extension of the IKEA online offer and will be available in shopping centres for a limited period of time (probably 18 months). IKEA is testing a new format to be more accessible to customers, to provide quick on-site assistance and to help plan complex interior solutions such as kitchens, living room solutions or PAX wardrobes.

The sale of take-away items and the return of items are not intended in IKEA planning studios. Customers can conveniently order their desired products by home delivery or pick them up at the nearest IKEA store or pick-up point.

Do customers need an appointment to plan at an IKEA planning studio?

We recommend making a fixed appointment, especially for kitchen planning, so that the staff can take enough time. For less complex planning, such as bedrooms or storage solutions, customers can also come by spontaneously, although there may be some waiting times.

What services are offered at an IKEA planning studio on site and which services can be booked?

Customers can plan and order kitchens, bedrooms, living room solutions or other products from the IKEA range at the IKEA planning studios. For larger plans an appointment should be made in advance. Interior design planning is only available by appointment online, at the IKEA store in Vösendorf or at IKEA Wien Westbahnhof.All services offered by IKEA Austria can be booked, from the measuring service to kitchen installation.
