Meatball mummies

These yummy meatball mummies will get the whole family into the Halloween spirit! Use plant balls, meatballs or both for a quick and easy snack to make together.

Ingredients:

16 HUVUDROLL plant balls or meatballs

125 g puff pastry

1 egg

1 tbsp mayonnaise

Step by step

  1. Thaw the meatballs.
  2. Heat the oven to 200C.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 1/2 cm wide long strips.
  4. Press three meatballs together tightly and wrap them with the puff pastry strips. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  5. Brush the puff pastry lightly with beaten egg.
  6. Bake in the oven for approximately 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let the mummies cool slightly. Make the eyes with mayonnaise.

    Tip!
    Make the mummies even scarier – serve them with a blood-red dipping sauce made of KETCHUP tomato ketchup!
