Instant bathroom design ideas on a budget

Small space? Go for practical organisation with a playful twist. The IVÖSJÖN bathroom furniture offers lots of storage in a fresh green that works well with bolder colours. Easy to carry home in a blue IKEA bag and easy to assemble.

Mix open and closed bathroom storage for a lively look

Keep personal items behind closed doors in the IVÖSJÖN mirror cabinet and things that you want on display and easily accessible on the open shelf (like a waterproof VAPPEBY portable Bluetooth speaker for your own bathroom soundtrack). Bulkier items fit in a sliding-door cabinet, safely secured to the wall.

Keep bathroom necessities under the sink (and under control)

With a width of only 50 cm, space for piping in the back and sliding doors that don’t take up any space when you open them, this wash-basin base cabinet can fit into even the smallest bathroom. It combines closed storage for bulkier items with open shelves for decorative bottles and care products, while boxes with lids help you organise smaller things that otherwise easily disappear. The wall-mounted SKATSJÖN single wash-basin, with its soft-rounded shapes and generous depth, is a perfect match for the IVÖSJÖN series.

Bathroom storage with small means

Clever accessories make a big difference without costing a fortune. The KLUNKA laundry bag with handles can stand on its own, is easy to carry to the washing machine and can be folded up when your laundry chores are done. Multipurpose accessories (here a net bag hanging on a TISKEN hook with suction cup) will help keep your bathroom neat and tidy. Best of all? No drilling required and you can add more hooks and bags if needed.

Add some wheels to your bathroom storage

With its slim shape, the VESKEN trolley fits neatly into otherwise unused corners, but don’t be deceived by its size — it has plenty of room for your bathroom necessities, from soap bars to toilet paper rolls. The four castors make it easy to move, and stacked things stay in place thanks to the high edges on all sides.
