The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
Batteries should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.
Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable battery HR03 AAA 1.2V 750mAh, 3 pieces required.
Observe the polarity marks plus (+) and minus (−) and ensure correct battery insertion into the product.
A built-in timer turns the lights on at the same time every day and keeps them on for 6 hours.

Very unique. I put fake flowers in it and use it as a lighted vase on my outside table. I love that it has a 6 hour timer. I have received many compliments on it. Wish I could add a photo of how pretty it looks with the flowers in it.
