We bought these as a cheaper stop gab as we’ve had a new kitchen fitted until we found something we really liked, but these lights actually look amazing 🤩 They are here to stay. Great value for money highly recommend

We now have 3 of these shades in our kitchen/diner hanging on IKEA cord sets. The shape is unusual and the smoky glass is stylish. Only wish would be that the neck of the shade is wider to take a larger bulb although the Molnart is nice.

I purchased this on a whim from click n collect service. Also ordered the recommended cord fitting. It looks lovely. I would love a smaller version for a lamp or wall lights. Great with an edison light bulb gives off a lovely glow.

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
