You want to redecorate your home but do not know where to go with the old pieces of furniture? If your used piece of furniture is still in good shape, make someone else happy with it!
At IKEA, you can now return used, well-preserved furniture and receive an IKEA refund card for it depending on the condition. We then give your piece of furniture a second life by reselling it in the Zweites Leben Shop for the same amount you received.
Used furniture that IKEA buys back
All IKEA furniture purchased in Austria, in household quantities, which can be selected as part of the Second Life offer. They must be in good condition, complete, clean, unchanged, odourless and assembled. These include the following articles:

Used furniture that IKEA does not buy back
Furniture that is incomplete, in poor condition and not from IKEA. Furthermore, all items that cannot be selected as part of the purchase offer and no non-binding offer can be created. These include, but are not limited to:
- Beds, mattresses and bed textiles such as duvets and mattress protectors
- Sofas and armchairs
- Textiles such as pillows, decorative pillows, towels, etc.
- Kitchen furniture (worktops, cabinets, fronts, etc.)
- Bathroom furniture
- Individual parts such as fronts, doors, shelves, table tops
- Kitchen appliances & electrical appliances
- Children's and baby products (baby cots, mattresses, changing tables)
- Home accessories and market hall items (textiles, crockery, decoration, lighting, etc.)
- Products used outdoors, including garden furniture

- Products that go out of the range and are no longer intended for normal sale – they are in perfect condition and deserve a second life.
