You have 365 days to return or exchange your unused goods, or even longer if you are an IKEA Family member.

Return to an IKEA store

Simply return the unused item you purchased and are not completely satisfied with or changed your mind about within 365 days.

You will always be able to return the goods free of charge. Please note our exceptions to the right of exchange and returns: appliances and used goods.

In order to keep your waiting time for the return at the store as short as possible, you can register your return in advance. Please fill out the return form below.

Return by truck

Any customer that has had goods from IKEA delivered by truck can also return the goods by truck; however, this is a paid service.

You can return items within 365 days if they are undamaged and unused. To complain about damaged goods, please file a claim.

It’s this simple:

  1. Enter your return online. If you have received several orders, please register one return per order per truck.
  2. Pack all the items securely for shipping.
  3. The truck company will collect the items at the date you previously selected.
  4. We will refund you for the amount using the payment method you used as soon as we have received the returned goods.

Return by parcel service

Any customer that has had goods from IKEA delivered by parcel service can also return the goods by parcel service within a fortnight after receipt.

It’s this simple:

1. Enter your return online. Make sure you only include items from the same order or with the same invoice in the return parcel.

2. Pack all the items securely for shipping. Note that parcels are limited to a maximum of 15 kg in weight and 198x90x58 cm in size.

3. Attach the RMA label to the package where it can clearly be seen. We will send you your RMA label within twenty-four hours by e-mail or within 5-7 days by post.

4. Take your parcel to a DPD shop of your choice.

5. We will refund you for the amount using the payment method you used as soon as we have received the returned goods.

You may at any time go to your IKEA store for customer service or submit a claim through the link below if your order is incomplete or contains damaged products.
