Where can I buy an IKEA gift card?
You can buy gift cards from your nearest IKEA store or order them online. You can also buy them from more than three thousand participating supermarkets and service stations.

You can charge up your IKEA gift card to any value between €10 and €15,000; the card will then be valid for an unlimited period after activation. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Where can I use the gift card? Can I also use the card outside Austria?

You can pay with your IKEA gift card or email voucher at any IKEA store in Austria or using the IKEA.at Shop Online service.

What’s the difference between an IKEA gift card and email voucher?
Your IKEA gift card will be sent to you by post, giving you a physical IKEA gift card to give to that special person. We’ll email you your IKEA email voucher for you to print out yourself.

Can I pay for my online order using the gift card?
Yes, you can settle your online invoice using several gift cards with a PIN code, and you can combine them with some other method of payment, such as a credit card.

How long does it take for IKEA to send an IKEA gift card or email voucher ordered online?
We will send you your IKEA gift card by post around two to three days after payment within Austria. Your IKEA email voucher will be in your inbox within a quarter of an hour after payment verification. However, it will take up to twenty-four hours to activate, so it can only be redeemed in IKEA stores in Austria the day after order placement. Note that it may take up to four days for the price to be transferred from your bank for orders paid in advance.

Can I order gift cards online as an IKEA for Business customer?

Can I combine payment with my IKEA Business or IKEA Family payment card with a gift card?
Sorry, you cannot combine IKEA gift cards with IKEA for Business or IKEA Family payment cards.

I’ve lost my gift card, or it has been stolen or damaged. Can I get the card blocked or replaced?
Sorry, we can't block or replace the card if you’ve lost it or someone else has used it without your permission. We have to treat gift cards like cash. However, we can still accept a damaged gift card at the IKEA store checkout as long as the number and PIN code are still legible.

How can I check the balance on my gift card?
You can ask directly at customer service or checkout in your IKEA store, or you can use our online query.

I have an IKEA for Business payment card and I’d like to buy an IKEA gift card using my profile.
You can order an IKEA gift card using our contact form on our IKEA for Business page.
IKEA gift cards can be purchased directly from IKEA Austria or from authorized partners. If an IKEA gift card was purchased through an authorized retailer, please contact the authorized partner directly with any concerns.
