Our online payment options are secure and easy to use. We accept all major credit cards. You can also use your IKEA Family credit card, IKEA gift card or IKEA prepaid card if you want to pay online, or apply for IKEA Financing before you shop.

• Trustly only supports the following banks for bank transfers: Bank Austria, BAWAG PSK, easybank, ING, Raiffeisen, and Sparkasse. You can combine any payment option with an IKEA gift card except KLARNA purchase on account.

You may use the IKEA app for secure payment using all major credit cards, Apple Pay, IKEA credit cards, IKEA gift cards and IKEA prepaid cards.

Scan & Pay

Scan & Pay in the IKEA app saves you time and helps you avoid long queues at the IKEA store checkout. You pay at one of the separate Scan & Pay checkouts at our IKEA stores after choosing this option. Just scan the QR code and pay – no need to wait in line.

We accept all major credit cards and mobile payment options at our Scan & Pay checkouts. Ask one of our co-workers if you wish to use another payment method – we’ll be happy to help you.

We accept all major credit cards, mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and cash for immediate payment at IKEA stores. But we also realise that you may need help to make your dreams a reality. That’s why we also support a range of financial services and prepaid cards from the IKEA Family credit card through to gift cards for you to use when you shop at IKEA.

1. How does the Klarna purchase on account work?
   The principle is simple: You have thirty days to settle your invoice starting on the date of delivery. You only need to pay once you’ve received the goods. This gives you a relaxed shopping experience in which you can complete your order and try out the products at home. Klarna will send you your payment request separately by e-mail once your order has been shipped. IKEA will send you the invoice for your order after delivery.
2. Why can't I use Klarna as a payment method?
   There are various potential reasons why you can’t pay on account. Klara performs an identity and credit check when you place an order with them. This check focuses on three main points:
   Your previous orders using Klarna
   The amount of your planned order
   Information available from a credit agency
   Klarna will not approve this payment method if the results of this check don’t fulfil internal requirements. A combination of various other factors may also prevent your order from being completed.
   We recommend that you choose a different payment method if you are unable to place the order by payment on account.
3. What happens if I can't pay on time?
   Klarna customer service is available 24/7 to assist you if you need help.
4. Why have I been sent a reminder?
   Contact Klarna customer service directly if you have received a reminder from them. Only Klarna can provide information as to whether there is still an amount outstanding or a return or similar has not been reported to them.
5. I have placed an order, but the goods can’t be delivered, or I would like to cancel the purchase. What should I do?
   Contact our IKEA customer service to make sure that your Klarna invoice has been cancelled.
6. I have a return or complaint, what happens with my Klarna invoice?
   Notify Klarna immediately by pausing the invoice in the Klarna app or using the link in your Klarna invoice. To do this, click the respective link or button to report a return or complaint in the app.
