Is solar energy used at IKEA?
We need electricity to live well at home. However, the fact is that most of our electricity is generated in power plants that use fossil fuels. Clean alternatives exist. Until now, however, they have been out of reach for most people. That is now changing.
IKEA has expanded its clean energy services to include electricity. This gives our customers access to affordable, certified energy from solar and wind power as well as an app to monitor their own energy consumption.
Haven't heard of IKEA Home Solar yet?
That's probably because we only offer this service in 11 markets so far. But don't worry, we'll be supplying the other areas with clean energy as soon as possible. After all, we have no time to lose when it comes to global warming.
