Do I have to be at home when my order is being delivered?
If you're expecting a parcel delivery, you can apply for a drop-off authorization. Unfortunately, this is not possible in the case of a truck delivery.
With a drop-off authorization you give our service partner Post your permission to drop off your parcels when you are not at home. Drop-off permits can only be requested for parcel deliveries, not for truck deliveries. If you are unable to be present, it is best to postpone your delivery date.
You can only apply for a drop-off authorization directly through Post.
Please note that IKEA cannot apply for a drop-off authorization for you. IKEA also accepts no liability for lost parcels if you have a drop-off authorization.
