I received a damaged product, what should I do?
If you receive a damaged product, you can either file a complaint online or contact IKEA Customer Service for support.
If the order you received through delivery contains a damaged product, you can file a complaint online and choose either to receive an exchange product or get a refund. Regardless of your choice, IKEA will arrange to pick up the damaged product (parcel return or truck pick up).
To file a complaint:
- Go to 'My Purchases' in your IKEA account.
- Select the affected order and click 'raise a claim'.
- Select the affected item(s), indicate the condition of the parcel and choose your desired solution ('Collection and exchange' or 'Collection and refund').
- Review and submit your claim.
- IKEA will contact you with information about next steps.
If you can’t find the order under 'My Purchases' or you want to file a complaint for a damaged product you collected by yourself, please contact IKEA and we will help you.
