Will my IKEA order be delivered into my home?
Find out whether your IKEA order will be delivered into your home, including information about standard and express delivery, room-of-choice delivery and important delivery requirements.
With standard or express delivery, your order will be brought into one room of your choice in your home or house.
What does “delivery into your home” mean?
Our delivery team will:
✓ carry the items into your home
✓ bring them into one room of your choice
✓ hand over the order for confirmation

✓ hand over the order for confirmation
Good to know
- The items cannot be distributed across several rooms.
- The entire delivery will be placed together in one selected room.
- Receipt of the order must be confirmed in writing.
Requirements for delivery
To make sure your delivery runs smoothly:
- Make sure the access route is clear, including staircases, lifts and doorways.
- Let us know in advance about any special conditions, such as narrow staircases or no lift.
If the items cannot be brought into the selected room due to structural conditions, they will be handed over at the nearest safe location.
Does this apply to all delivery methods?
This applies to:
- standard delivery
- express delivery
Other services, such as pick-up points or Click & Collect, are excluded.
