HEDERVÄRD candlestick has an old-fashioned charm, yet at the same time a simple and modern Scandinavian style with clean and smooth curves.
The rustic black finish is reminiscent of traditional fireplaces and gives a powerful and elegant impression that also feels cosy and inviting.
The powder-coated aluminium has a distinct texture and is lightweight, yet also strong and durable.
The stem gives the candlestick added height, so it gets a more proportionate look and can be placed at the back of a decorative display.
The base of the candlestick doubles as a drip tray to collect any dripping stearin and protects the surface under the candlestick.

What is aluminium?
After iron, aluminium is the world's most used metal and has a very wide range of uses. It’s easy to shape and lightweight, but is still strong and durable. In our range we use it for things like kitchen utensils, curtain rods and tealight cups. A big advantage with aluminium is that it can be recycled again and again without losing its quality. Recycling consumes only a fraction of the energy required to produce aluminium from new raw materials.

"Candlelight is a wonderful way to light up a space and we as humans have a deep emotional relationship to fire with its warm flickering flame. The idea when I designed HEDERVÄRD was to make candleholders that are simple in shape yet rich in materiality and function. They are all easy to carry and can be used in many different rooms and settings. Hopefully these candleholders can create new emotional bonds and will add a warm and welcoming touch to many homes."
