Waffles with seaweed pearls & shrimp

A savoury take on the waffle, this seafood version is a favourite in Scandinavian homes.

Ingredients

1 pack VÅFFLOR waffles (12 pieces)

125 g SJÖRAPPORT peeled shrimps, defrosted

100 g mayonnaise

1 jar SJÖRAPPORT seaweed pearls (black or orange)

1 lemon, sliced

1 bunch of dill, chopped

Step by step

  1. Heat the waffles in the oven according to the package.
  2. Top each waffle with a teaspoon of mayonnaise, 3-4 shrimps and 1 teaspoon of seaweed pearls.
  3. Drizzle with a squeeze of lemon and finish with a sprinkling of chopped dill.
A person spoons a dollop of caviar on top of each seafood waffle.
