The story behind the product

So fresh, so STARKVIND

The STARKVIND table with an air purifier, designed by David Wahl, combines simple Scandinavian style with advanced air-filtering technology for what may be the smartest table you've ever seen.

Hej, David!

Function comes first, but form should not be forgotten, believes IKEA designer David Wahl. The idea for the STARKVIND table with air purifier came about as he sought to design an air purifier that not only worked well, but looked great too.

"I think smart products are only smart when they can handle everyday life." – David Wahl
