Time for adventure

The limited-edition SOLUPPGÅNG collection was inspired by Nordic "friluftsliv", or "open-air living", and Japanese urban outdoor style, and made for effortless days outside. From seaside lounging to laid-back park hangs, it was full of easy-to-pack essentials that had everything you needed for a tranquil adventure under the open sky.

All boxes ticked for a great day out

From forest trails to your nearest patch of grass, days feel brighter when you've got what you need with you. The SOLUPPGÅNG collection, meaning "sunrise" in Swedish, was packed with thoughtfully made pieces to help ensure you could make the most of your day – from an enamelled steel mug and folding table to a cast-iron barbecue and a throw.

Make yourself at home

Taking a moment to enjoy a little fresh air is always nice – but it's even better when you can pull up a seat, get comfy and stay a while. The collection invited you to throw a handy SOLUPPGÅNG bag and picnic blanket over your shoulder and enjoy your day alfresco to the full.

For warmer weather, there was a wide-brimmed hat, designed to fit any head, in soft, breathable cotton to protect you from the sun. With an adjustable drawstring for a comfortable fit, it worked just as well in the wilderness as it did in the city, and folded down small for when you were on the move.

A reliable companion, The SOLUPPGÅNG bag was simple yet packed with clever details including a hook for your mug, a handy drawstring fastening, and a dark base to protect it from dirt.

Because everything tastes better outdoors

The smell of smoke from a campfire, the warmth of a shared meal, the sounds of waves crashing on the shore – there's something special about cooking under the open sky. And everything tastes better too.

Whether you were planning to rustle up a bowl of meatballs or treat everyone to something gourmet, the SOLUPPGÅNG collection included all the gear a chef in the wild might need – from a sturdy cast-iron barbecue and waist apron to a knife with a sheath, pot holders and even a trusty "spork" to eat with.

Linger for longer

Sea views and park hangouts are great – until the sun disappears or the damp grass gets the better of you. The SOLUPPGÅNG collection included a throw, soft cushions and a handy LED lantern, so you could settle in, stay cosy and warm, and hang around long after sunset.

The breathable SOLUPPGÅNG throw with a jacquard weave was designed to help you feel warm and relaxed no matter what the weather decided to do.
