How we work with our suppliers
To us, our suppliers and service providers are some of our most important partners for development. Together we grow and expand our businesses and explore new ways to do it in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
We share the responsibility to make sure that the unique IKEA range is produced at the right time, right volume, right quality, and at a low cost to an ever-expanding customer base. Thanks to our ambitious growth plans, we are always on the look-out for new partners that share our values and our ambitions to become people and planet positive.

Our supplier requirements
Being responsible for a total value chain gives IKEA a unique opportunity to create a better everyday life for the many people and the planet we share. IWAY, the IKEA supplier code of conduct, sets clear expectations and ways of working for environmental, social and working conditions, as well as animal welfare. IWAY is mandatory for all IKEA suppliers and service providers.
Raise a Concern
We believe that raising concerns on misconduct is key to sustaining a safe and secure work environment, a good reputation, and compliance with laws and regulations. When people speak up on concerns that they have, they can get the support they need.
