Delivery options vary based on your order size, location, current demand, and product availability. During online check-out, you’ll get to see all available delivery options for you, alongside estimated lead time and exact prices. Then you can choose what works best for you and your budget.

Delivery options
- Standard delivery
- 5 - 30 days.
- Costs depend on the weight of your total order, the weight of individual boxes in your order, and the fragility of the items in your order.
- Express delivery
- Next day delivery (for orders placed before 2pm) or up to 4 days for an additional fee.
- 4-hour delivery slot
- Select a 4-hour window for your order to be delivered for an additional fee.
- Only available in selected postcodes and with selected delivery methods.
- This option will appear at checkout once your delivery method is selected.
- Weekend delivery
- An additional fee for heavier and/or more fragile deliveries fulfilled on a Saturday or Sunday.
- This option will appear at checkout once your delivery method is selected.
- This charge does not apply if you select 4-hour slot delivery.

To ensure the best possible delivery for your order, we have two dedicated delivery methods which depend on the weight and/or fragility of your order. Explore delivery prices for lighter orders and heavier/more fragile orders.

To ensure your items arrive safely and smoothly, we have special considerations for orders over 100kg total, individual boxes heavier than 25kg, and items requiring extra care due to their fragility or availability.

Additional delivery options available in-store only
For these delivery methods, it's the customer's responsibility to pick up their products in-store; products in distribution are not eligible. These delivery methods are available for store delivery areas only. Services via Taskrabbit are available at IKEA Birmingham, Croydon, Greenwich, Lakeside, Warrington and Wembley. All prices are fixed.

How IKEA delivery service works
- Shop online or in-store. Go for your dreams and don’t worry about transport. We’ll take care of it.
- Book delivery. Buying online? Get options during check-out. In a store? Visit the customer service area.
- Relax, have a coffee (or three) and live life while we process your purchase.
- You’ll be notified by us or the delivery provider when your order is on its way. Or you’ll get a tracking number.
- Be present to sign for your delivery, if needed. Or check by your curb/main entry for your order.
- Examine packages for correctness and condition. Issues? Inform the delivery driver and/or contact us.
Good-to-know basics
- You can track a parcel delivery here or use the link provided in your order confirmation email.
- For large deliveries, tell us about any considerations like parking, time or weight restrictions.
- Be sure your delivery will fit in all doorways, halls, stairs or lifts in your home and building. For dimensions, look under “Package details” on individual product pages.
- For deliveries to a block of flats, verify that packages can be received or left at the main entry.
- Live potted plants and food/beverage products are in-store purchases only and cannot be delivered. Sometimes, seasonal items and special collections aren’t eligible for delivery.
- You can often pair IKEA delivery service with assembly service for even more convenience.
