Good colander, bad steamerAnonymous reviewerWas very excited by the KLOCKREN; I needed a new steamer and colander this said it could do both and it packs away nicely. Great!
It is good at cooking pasta and draining things, but makes for a poor steamer as it doesn't seal well due to the handles. It'll steam small amounts of broccoli fine but if you fill it up with smaller sized food I found it really struggled. I haven't had this issue with other steamers.3
A fortuitous dayAnonymous reviewerI set out, full of wish and whimsy, to visit IKEA, eat meatballs, and buy myself the badassiest collander they had. The day did not disappoint. I ended up with two collanders because I simply couldn’t decide which was best. This one here I’ve given 5 stars as it doubles up as a steamer too would you believe?! I dare say though I actually prefer the other a smidge more as it has wings that hold it over the sink for all your pasta draining desires. A fortuitous day indeed. The wonderful everyday. 5

However after buying it I found the same item in Poundland except it was all silicone for £1. That would have suited me fine. So I guess I’m saying it’s a good product but very expensive.5
