1. Find your kitchen style

Take some time to dream a little, look at some ideas, consider your needs and decide what you want in your ideal kitchen.  We have tons of kitchen ideas so you can explore different designs and solutions that inspire you. Once you determine what your needs are and what your ideal kitchen looks like, you’ll for sure find a perfect match at IKEA.

Consider if you’re more of a classic type who likes a kitchen with lots of visible drawers and details...

...Or if you like a more modern approach with streamlined designs and drawers hidden behind larger fronts...

...Or, perhaps you’re somewhere in between and want the best of both worlds?

2. Measure your kitchen

A great plan starts with a great measure. Be thorough when measuring your kitchen. It’s important to take your time to get your measurements correct. This will form the foundation of all your planning. You can do it yourself with our measuring guides or schedule an appointment with one of our IKEA Kitchen Services specialists.

3. Plan your kitchen

Planning your kitchen is when your dreams and ideas take shape. There are a lot of things to consider and think about. Take your time to make sure you end up with the kitchen you wished for. Think about how you normally use your kitchen and what feels comfortable for you. Look at your existing kitchen and make a list of the things you like and what you’d want to change.

Our free professional kitchen planners can help with every step of your project. Schedule an online or in-store appointment now. If you'd rather do it yourself explore our guide on how to make your own plan!

4. Shop, order and get it home

After your layout is finalized, we have everything you need to create the kitchen you deserve. We'll help you finalize and process your order and schedule your delivery!

5. Install your kitchen

We are not offering IKEA Kitchen installation service at this time due to limited-service availability. We will continue to offer IKEA kitchens and non-installation services (measuring, planning, financing, etc.). Customers will be offered recommendations for third-party installation, where available. We understand how many customers look to IKEA to help make their kitchen dreams a reality, and we look forward to resuming the service as soon as possible.
