Great dealMonicaVery practical pull out for a linear corner cabinet and it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg like the rev-a-shelf units.5
Great product, always wows peopleKristenWe actually bought this for a home we built in Honduras. We couldn't get Ikea cabinets there like we have at home in TX, but there was no problem installing the lazy susan into the corner cabinet with only a slight modification (we had given the cabinet maker the appropriate size to build). It's a wonderful addition and provides so much extra storage space. Oh, and it's wonderful that the shelf liner is already cut to size and included.5
Fabulous Kitchen Deep Corner CabinetDebCGAbsolutely love all of our IKEA cabinets, but this lazy Susan cabinet solved our biggest challenge. It brings the lazy Susan from deep inside the corner to out into the room. It's genius.5
Reclaims dead space in cabinet cornershappycamperkatyMost lazy susans just rotate on a fixed axis and do not allow full use of the dead space in the back corners of L-shape cabinets. These DO, and the pull-out feature avoids having to stoop and stretch to get the items from the very back. LOVE it!5
Must have!r3miThis thing is amazing. I absolutely love it!5
Love it!!What00No more groveling on my knees looking for items, just pull out shelf and choose your item. Thanks5
Job1212It’s practical and easy to find what i need.5
Very disappointed in cabinet space lostJFB1I bought two for a small kitchen I was remodeling. I was really disappointed in them way to expensive and if you look inside the cabinet you will see that you lose a lot of space for nothing. I am going to return them and put in something different. Note to IKEA take it back to the design room this failed at saving space.1
perfectreimfamwe installed two base corner cabinets with this pull out inserts...they are so wonderful and everyone asks where we purchased them! love, love, love!5
Great!KHagThis product makes life easier to not have to kneel down and reach all the way back to the hard to reach places. You lose some cupboard space, but for convenience and ease, it is worth it. The only issue is that you can't put very heavy things on it.4
Make use of dead spaceTejasJefeCorner cabinets are typically dead space. Hard to reach, tiny door in another room and ... impractical at best. The UTRUSTA pull-out makes the whole cabinet function like any other - useful, neat and with typical IKEA design (looks as good as it works).5
A miracle transformation!IroquoisI bought two of these swing out units to gain access to the deep recesses in my corner cabinets which, previously, became lost storage for untold quantities of kitchen stuff. Now I have easy access to everything inside. I don't have Ikea cabinets, but with a little added support for the upright members I was able to make them work, perfectly. What an outstanding improvement to our kitchen it has proven to be.5
Holds a surprising amount of weight.Sandy777Bought it a month ago. I have changed around what I put in there because it is quite unfamiliar as storage. It looks a bit flimsy but that is deceiving because at first I loaded all my loads of pantry items in there and I could still easily pull it all the way out. Then, I decided I wanted my pans instead. I only us heavy iron pans and it works perfectly for them as well.5
Perfect fit!Jen7777I bought this to make getting into the corner cabinet easier! I did not realize the whole shelf pulls out on a rail!! So much better than I thought it would be!5
Atypical lazy SusanMikeytownI so dislike lazy Susan’s but this is so useable! Love it!5
Best lazy Susan ever!clairemEveryone that has seen this in our kitchen is amazed at how this works. Not only does it rotate, but then it pulls toward you, exposing the most concealed items. A fantastic feature...5
RuthkbThis item is great and really easy and so convenient to handle. The best lazy Susan to use and fill up hidden space.5
Great idea some flawsJenrpaWhen I saw this in the store I loved it and we worked it into the plans for our new kitchen. It was easy to put together but I feel like the height adjustment options aren't enough. I wish there were more options than when they give you. I guess I could drill holes for the pins to have them at the height I want. I had planned to use it for my pots but I couldn't fit them, I have my pots under the lowest shelf and I have a spice rack I got from ikea on the top shelf and foils and things on the bottom. It also dosen't close nicely. You have to push hard and it makes a loud click and then the cabinet will close all the way. I've had it about a month, I'm hoping it will loosen over time.4
Greatcorner easevery useful for corner cabinets, keep on doing such interventions5
Amazing storage item!!Sabrina333We bought this a few months ago and it works beautifully... holding so many food items and utilizing all of that space in our blind cabinet. Couldn't be more pleased :)5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.
