You can really loosen up and relax in comfort because the high back on this chair provides extra support for your neck.

Djuparp cover is made of velvet which, through a traditional weaving technique gives the fabric a warm, deep color and a soft surface with a dense pile and light, reflective shine.

The velvet is woven from viscose and polyester, which makes it durable.

  • The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the color appear as if it changes.

    Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear in time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

    Small fibers may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a lint roller.

    Remove dust with a lint remover.

    Light stains can be removed with a damp sponge or a mild soapy solution.

  • This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. My absolute favorite chairLaura D.I bought the yellow version of this chair 8 or 9 years ago. It has moved with me three or four times. Quality Has ChangedLogan R.We bought our first chair several years ago, and we immediately wanted to get another one of the same color. IKEA was out of stock, and we were finally able to find one recently. However, the chairs are not comparable in quality. The new chair is missing padding in the arm, and the cushion is smaller and does not sit straight. I wish this allowed me to post pictures, but the front of the cushion no longer looks like the images depicted.1

Nice looking chair but expensiveLaura F.We bought two of these chairs for a small sitting area. We also got stuck lining up the holes on the wings with the base, but we figured out that once you stick the one wing's metal pole into the side of the chair's back, you have to wiggle the wing left and right to get it fully seated into the chair's back. Once you've wiggled the wing enough, it'll look totally misaligned standing up, but once you flip it on its side to put the two screws in, push the wing's bottom up in place and the holes should now be aligned. Also, the chair's cushion extends past the base of the chair, so it pushes on the back of your legs funny if you aren't super tall. Nothing a pillow behind your back or a footstool can't fix though. Cushions are nice and firm, hopefully they will stay that way.4

There are only 4 bolts and 2 screws, should have been quick and easy. It looks nice but you can tell it was a build-at-home chair by the way the pieces don’t quite line up.4
