Due to the industry-wide impacts of COVID-19 on the supply chain, we are currently experiencing significant delays with our kitchen cabinet systems and fronts. While we continue to work closely with our suppliers and partners to replenish stock as quickly as possible, we cannot estimate the wait time, or guarantee the complete availability of our cabinets and fronts. If you choose to move forward with your kitchen purchase today, and we are unable to book all the pieces required, we do not recommend installing your kitchen or booking your contractor until you have received all items needed to complete the installation of your kitchen.

Excellent for the price!AMYThese cabinets are amazing and look very nice when properly trimmed out. You can't beat the price!5

Almost perfectNancyThe cabinets are solid, well constructed…..except for a few problems related primarily to your instructions. Because those instructions are not always clear, I had to go online to determine how to correct drawer head issues. Additionally, one drawer head is still not adjusted correctly because heupand down screw is not moving the head. I even bought new screwdrivers to accommodate these screw heads, but still can’t get it adjusted. If someone is buying a whole kitchen, you might have screwdrivers available that will do the job….in the kitchen department…..since my local hardware store does not carry the full complement of European style screwdrivers. Your furniture cabinets always include appropriate tools for construction….I have many, many IKEA furniture pieces, so I know what you can do! Other than that, I love the new kitchen.5
I did not buy anythingnanetteI did not buy anything I have been trying for 5 months to get the remainder of my cabinets. Your statement says because of covid there is delay getting kitchen cabinets however there is nothing stating how you are going to correct the problem.1

Good, could be betterHollyThese cabinets/drawers system are great... however, the darker cabinets really need edge banding in the same color as the drawer fronts available. Although the gap is only 1/8th inch the bright white box frame shows.3
Great but Instructions are WRONGEMILYI spent a weekend building all the cabinets for my new kitchen (total of 12) and this is the only one that had me wanting to smash it to bits with my hammer. The drawer instructions are straight up incorrect. In order to get all three front-facing drawers to close, you have to install some of the drawer faces upside down, change the hole heights, and just trial and error for literally hours. Some of the other reviews on here are helpful, but the best piece of advice I have is to not assemble any of the drawers fully until you've put them all in and are sure they fit. So only do the bare minimum to test. Save yourself having to undo and redo a lot of work screwing in the bottom, etc. There are also helpful youtube videos for how to remove the drawer fronts using a screw driver - very easy if you actually see how the mechanism works. Ikea just needs to provide specialized instructions for both the interior drawer and how to get all three panels to fit for this specific cabinet.4
AwwwwfulDontWasteYourMoneyHereJust moved into a new home that had Ikea kitchen cabinets installed along with the remodeling of the kitchen. We've been here 6 months and they're falling apart. Absolutely ridiculous. Look elsewhere.1
Great Drawer Cabinet ValueDianeWThis is a good-looking, strong, well-designed cabinet, an incredible value. A little tricky to put together but nice results, All drawers are straight, soft close! nice spacing, looks beautiful in my wet bar/kitchenette.5

Spacious & quality drawersJeanne RPurchased as part of a Grimslov kitchen remodel. Contractor assembled the drawers. The three drawer unit offers ample storage. I chose soft closing with a hidden extra drawer in the top drawer to store silverware and utensils, and use the bottom two drawers for pots and pans.5
Kitchen remodelTamara handywoman7Love ❤️ my new kitchen, highly recommend to anyone to use IKEA cabinets easy to install and put together5
Love IKEA Cabinets!stuberry26IKEA Kitchen helpers installed these cabinets in our newly remodeled kitchen last month. I am loving them. They glide open close so softly. I especially like the double drawer feature that allows me to store more of my knick knack kinds of items. Everything has a place now.5
Love the hidden drawer. Added dividers to store heLouLou 1200Love the hidden drawer. Added dividers to store herbs and spices next to my stove.5
Beautiful and convenientBarbarmarWe had our whole kitchen designed and purchased through IKEA and their design crew at Kitchen Helpers. We love the cabinets and drawers. They are contemporary design, although you can select other styles also. The top drawers have an inner drawer that expands the storage. We love them. The only change we would have made is to use Kitchen Helpers to install the cabinets. We had our contractor use her people and they made it a long process with some glitches. Kitchen Helpers would have done it in 2-3 days.5
Classic design, clean look.MommaCondostaUsed this as a center island-love the slow close drawers and storage.5
Great space!KateRSI have purchased this cabinet for two different kitchen remodels. The grey looks fantastic and the three drawers are incredibly functional. There is so much space in this one cabinet!5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.
