With a glass-door cabinet, you can show off as well as protect your glassware or your favorite collection.

The glass shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.

The included lock allows you to store your things in a secure way, so that both you and your small children are safe.

You can easily complete your glass-door cabinet with integrated lighting thanks to the cable outlet at the top.

The glass shelves allow light to spread throughout the entire cabinet.

Looks Great, Multiple UsesSharonI picked up this cabinet as a used item (but in almost new condition) from a rural organic market that had used it as a display. I retrofitted the cabinet with 3/8" tempered glass shelves so that it can be used as a bookcase. It is a statement piece that is sturdy and beautiful. The shelves that come with the cabinet could be thicker to hold more weight, and if I were using the cabinet differently I would have liked one more shelf, but I purchased it knowing I would need to order extra thick glass since I would be using it as a bookcase for taller books, so having only three glass shelves worked for me.5
Shelves, please!DanielleGot this to display our Lego kits and are considering getting another one. I just wish they sold shelves separately. We'd love to get one more in there. Any second hand shelf we find is acrylic, but we'd prefer glass, and we'd prefer for it to be directly from IKEA.4

I Have small item to displays and they. look almost lost on the three supplied shelves. No option, I can find, to buy more shelves and brackets. Are you listening IKEA? we need more shelves. 4

I would have paid full price anyway (for one), only because the Milsbo's stellar reputation amongst greenhouse fanatics is well-established. 5

We watched a couple of YT videos to get a better understanding of how to install the glass…definitely helped; without we would’ve been lost. Don’t tighten the screws on top until the end. Just wish there was an IKEA closer to where I live.5

You can definitely build this by yourself, but it will be easier if you have someone else.5

Nice showing cabinetJorgeIt was not easy to assemble because the directions has no words just pictures. But if you had done similar things you won’t have a problem. After at least 2 hours I was able to do it. It is very nice and fashion. Just remember it comes with no lights (weird). Make sure you get some, extra $40.4

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

"MILSBO glass-door cabinet is all about giving maximum attention to the things stored in it, rather than the cabinet itself. My idea was to use as little material as possible and give the product clean lines and an airy design with hidden brackets and angled edges. Adjustable shelves allow you to adapt the cabinet to different needs, and a lock keeps your stored things more secure. I see it as a cabinet that discretely allows other objects to stand out."
