You can create a bigger table by placing two or more MELLTORP tables next to each other. You can for instance place a small MELLTORP table next to a larger one.

We have tested it for you! The table’s surface is resistant to liquids, food stains, oil, heat, scratches and bumps.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Worst piece of junk I’ve ever wasted money on.Kevin N.Bought 6 tables for displays at our small businesses years ago and they were pretty decent. Purchased them again for another location and the screws and threads all stripped completely with almost no effort. Had to wood glue the screws into the legs to connect the table and they still fall apart. Would give 0 stars if I could.1

Great frame, nice looks, but weak topMiriam G.I love this table for it's minimalist design and sturdy, durable frame but the table top itself is quite cheap. The melamine surface chips and nicks easily and the chipboard interior quickly expands and bulges. I wish they'd make the top more durable to match the quality of the rest of the table.2

After assembling this for more than half an hour when I flipped it I noticed that the screws damaged the other side of the table. I put mine together to use as a corner desk and pull them apart to put together differently if I have people round for dinner. Brilliant for small apartments, though I'd buy them for anywhere. SO solid and long lasting. Look great, too.5

It’s big enough where I can have my laptop, books, and notes out without having to put one away. Assembly is not bad at all compared to some other IKEA products that I put together in the past. Super easy buildBob the BI really debated on getting this table only because of all the bad reviews about the assembly. I read through one review, which advised to use a piece if cardboard on step 4/5, and convinced me to try and assemble on my own. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble with no problems. It's a sturdy table and for the price, you really can't complain. Overall, it's a great table to buy for a small dining area.5
