The table is very sturdy thanks to the metal frame.

You can create a bigger table by placing two or more MELLTORP tables next to each other. You can for instance place a small MELLTORP table next to a larger one.

You can stack the chairs, so they take less space when you're not using them.

Comfortable to sit on thanks to the bowl-shaped seat and rounded shape of the backrest.

WowPdang1990First time buying from ikea. I just bought this table tonight. It’s been 4 hours of trying to assemble this thing! The screws don’t seem to match up to the hole on the legs, the screws seem too short. I am annoyed because I finally got 3 of the legs assembled and the 4th leg just wont tighten on. The tool that came with it is already worn out from all my endless attempts at getting these legs on and cannot tighten the screw anymore. When I do finally attach the 4th leg it’s wobbly and it seems like the screw is crooked or the hole probably doesn’t match up. What a waste!1
