Nice easy to move desk!ShelfLadyThe tabletop on this is perfect for a pc gaming setup, I've got the space for dual monitors and my pc and plenty of room to have my keyboard and mouse. The trestles are very sturdy and you can just add a board across thier bottom to make a quick shelf! Got this desk since I'm in an apartment, and I can just pick it up in its parts and move it easily. Once you have weight on the tabletop it does not budge. Keep in mind this is their honeycomb tabletop so dont axe kick it or clamp it and it will last years.5
Tbk7777Nice looking desk but not so practical3
Amazing value and stylelancelot916I got this to use as a podcasting booth but bought 2 since their own stock photo showed 2 of them together. I thought that was a great way to make it a bit of a communal, planning & strategizing table, or co-working space. The table sits on the legs with 4 small rubber stickers. Some don't like this about ODDVALD but I think it's absolute genius. I can tear down the table and set it aside whenever I want to since I use it in our startup office and we constantly reconfiguring the place for different activities and events. To me, the table stays on solid even though the table itself is quite light. I also saw the GERTON table top which is a beautiful piece of wood but my IKEA store was sold out. It's 2 longer and just nicer but it's also $60 much more. If it's in your budget the GERTON is nicer but the LINMON is good for what it is. At $70 this is a steal. ODDVALD was easy to put together contrary to other reviewers (what are they doing?!). It looks really good in the office.5
Nice big desk for a low price!mesa06cA lot of people were complaining that the actual table top doesn't attatch to the trestle legs, but when assembled, there really is no problem. There are little rubber circles attached to the top of the legs to keep the tabletop set in place. It doesn't wobble at all and I have mine set on carpet. It's a big big big desk for such a low price, and it really is good quality. The legs were easy to assemble, you just need someone else to hold the pieces for you as you screw them together. I managed to do it by myself so even then it wasn't that hard.5
Nice design, poor constructionCelia88I bought this table to use as a desk. It took about an hours to put together; would have been faster with someone to help hold the pieces of wood in place while I screwed the screws in. After getting the legs set up I went to put the top of the able on and was very surprised to find that NOTHING holds the top of the table onto the legs. It seems incredibly unsteady and unsafe. I'm not sure why they didn't just have it attached with a few screws? If anything knocks the top of the table off, a laptop could fly off and break, a child could get hurt etc. The other thing that annoyed me was that the top of the table was scratched/scuffed; it only has a thin layer of black paint and these scratches show up clearly. That said, the design as stated is nice; I like that the table top has a lot of work space. It's lightweight and would be easy to move in the future. I'm torn between returning it and doing a DIY project to anchor the top of the table to the legs.1
TrovoThe Table was great because there is plenty of counter space.5
Seems unsafeDisappointed in GeorgiaThis table just sits on four small rubber bumpers about the size of pencil erasers. I would feel more secure if it were attached to the legs.1
