Use this smart LED recessed spotlight to create atmosphere in any room, including the bathroom. You can control the light via TRÅDFRI remote or a smartphone ― and set the scene for cooking or a long bath.

Product details

With this smart LED recessed spotlight you can adapt your lighting to different activities, for example a warmer light for a relaxing bath and a brighter, colder light for working.

You can install several spotlights in places like a hallway or other areas where you want a lot of light.

Uses LED, which consume up to 85% less energy and last 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Tested and approved for bathroom use.

You can use TRÅDFRI remote (sold separately) to control up to 10 smart light sources which will react in the same way ― dim, switch off, turn on, and switch from warm to cold light in 3 steps.

When you add TRÅDFRI gateway and IKEA Home smart 1 app, you can create several groups of light sources and control them in different ways.

  • Built-in LED light source.

    The color temperature can be switched between 2200 Kelvin (warm glow), 2700 Kelvin (warm white) and 4000 Kelvin (cool white).

    Can be used for both 5" and 6" holes.

    Beam angle: 100°.

    This product can be dimmed wirelessly.

    The lamp emits 600 lumen, which is approximately equal to the light emitted by a 60-watt incandescent bulb.

    This LED recessed spotlight is not suitable to use with wired dimmers.

    You need the TRÅDFRI gateway to use the IKEA Home smart app. Download the app for free via Google Play or App Store, depending on which mobile device you have.

    Make sure that you have the latest upgrade of TRÅDFRI gateway to be able to connect it with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit or Google Home.

    Can only be used with IKEA Smart lighting products.

    As LED lighting emits low heat, no heat protection box is required.

    The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
