A mini painter"s best friend for storage!DOUGI've had two of these incredibly handy organizers for a few years now and just recently purchased two more to further organize my space. I’m a long time miniatures painter and as anyone who is part of the hobby knows, you always end up with dozens of projects at various levels of completion. This organizer allows me to organize my work-in-progress minis in a way that not only keeps them safe and secure, but also takes up less space. This also fits perfectly on my Billy bookcase.
The distance between trays fits most 28-32mm scale minis (Warhammer, D&D, Warmachine, Malifaux, etc.) easily. For taller models I don’t use the bottom slots and just slide the tray in beneath and many taller models fit without needing to lay them down. On the Kvissles where I’m not storing taller models, I slide in a tray on the bottom (the lid from a GW model box is the perfect size) and I get a full 5 layers of model storage. These are seriously some of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my hobby room.
The only “complaint” I have is that I wish they came in black to match the decor of the rest of my office.5

Used in conjunction with the KALLAX cubbies, they are not a perfect fit. They are about 5 inch less deep, so if your plan was to put the KVISSLE inside a cubbie of a KALLAX, you lose 5 inches of use. It would have been a 5 star if it fit perfectly inside the cubbie.4

I labeled the front lip and now all are separated, organized, easily accessible and protected. The cork liner on each shelf ensures the bottom photo is protected and doesn’t stick. It also helps to dampen the sound when sliding the drawers in and out.5
