Love this bed. Easy toHannahLove this bed. Easy to assemble, it looks great and is sturdy. It’s also great if you need under bed storage.5
Cute and super easy to put together!KristenMy son has been sleeping on a futon for atleast 2 years. I got tired of seeing his poor legs hanging off the end, so for Xmas this year we got him this bed! It fit in my car, was super easy to put together and he’s slept better than he had in years! 🤣5

My wife and I absolutely love this bed framewadedabbsMy wife and I have had this bed frame for about a year. I feel that all Ikea furniture looks nice and there is only one question most people have when looking at reviews on here, so I'll go ahead and answer that question. THIS BED IS ROCK SOLID! If anyone says otherwise, they didn't put it together correctly. It did take some time to put together, but it is was easy. We are about to buy another one for our airbnb because it's just that good.5
Love It, But Tedious Assembly!SukkulentUnfortunately, I had to move 3 times within a 2 year frame and each time, I dread taking apart this bed. I love the way it looks and I love the medium grey tone. I also like that it hasn't started squeaking yet. However, I hate the assembly and disassembly. You're screwing in hardware in a very difficult-to-see angle which makes this take at least an hour or more to do if you're having trouble. It's not really *difficult*, it's just very dreadful and frustrating. And if you don't follow the instructions carefully and put the wrong side in, then you can't connect the headboard portion. Watch out!4
2 years with Casper mattressAbomI'm 6'1 200lbs. I've owned this frame for two years with the Luroy slats and a Casper mattress. Absolutely love it.5
love the frame!!lonesomebodyyou will need help from someone to set up, its a lot of try, try, and try again with the slats but once you get it its worth it, i've had it for a little over a year and everything still looks great and feels great.5
Love it!CamilamBought this bed a month ago and I love it! It is very minimalist. The bed was easy to assemble, only took me 45 min. It was a great addition to my room. Really sturdy, does not squeak so far. 10/10 would buy again !5
GinastylerocksI do like this bed, but it very squeaky, which is irritating. I have also hit my toe on the leg of the bed a few times and it really hurt. I do like the overall look of the bed, but might get rid of it and try something else.3
Inexpensive and sturdy!FoxmomI bought this bed for my 13 year old son a month ago and so far, so good. Super easy to put together (1 person, 30 minutes) and his full sized mattress that we already had (not ikea) fit like a glove. The first thing my husband said when he saw it was that I bought our son a “prison bed” (ha ha ha) but hey...for the price...it’ll do nicely and he’s happy!5
My first bedYuseungI have the Full/Double sized bed and bought the Lönset Slatted Bed Base. Two nights in so far, so good. It's a solid, no noise bed. I would recommend it. As for the actual shade of gray, it's the shade of gray that is shown when you select either the Eidfjord or the Espevär slatted bed base. Step 4 requires patiences because it's very tedious. It's also probably the most important step to insure that the bed will be solid and noise free. Go back around a couple more times to insure that the screws are tightened properly. Don't over torque the screws though! Lift the frame up and shake it a little to resettle the screws making sure that that there's no wiggle room.5
Great Inexpensive Bed... Easy for Movingphilly18I bought this bed about 4 months ago and I have not had any issues so far. It was easy to install and as someone who has moved frequently, I think this IKEA bed will work well for that. The color is NOT BLACK but a nice grey. I viewed the bed in store so I wasn't surprised. I think for the price you can't find much better. The only thing I have had an issue with is the slats falling. I solved this by just adding some tape to a few of the slats on either side and I haven't had any issues since.5
We love our KOPARDAL!Heart over HarvestI don't understand all of the bad reviews -- we love this bed! Pros: -sturdy and quiet -no boxspring required -easy to assemble -amazing price My husband and I did run into the angled legs. After we did it once, we learned our lesson and haven't had any issues since! We have a standard queen size mattress that fits perfectly. The color is definitely lighter in person than it looks in the pictures. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bed!5
Great bed - especially for the pricelisameesabobeesaI’ve had this bed, with the cheapest base option, for 6 weeks. I love it. It’s sturdy and stylish. I have zero complaints.5
Solid & MinimalKennyWI bought this bed (King size) on Sunday and was lucky to get it delivered the same day. It took me about an hour to put it together and it couldn't have been any easier. Such a simple design and a great value. Feels solid and looks great! I couldn't be any happier with this purchase.5
Awesome Bedframe!bmmccueWe love this bedframe! Easy to transport, put together, and take apart. Comfy to sleep on with Luroy slats. Would highly recommend to folks who are moving from city to city often.5
Queen size is offEfm2031I bought this bed two years ago in their Round Rock, TX store. It is a decent cheap bed in a lot of ways (style, weight, ease of assembly), but the big problem is that it is NOT the correct length for anqueen mattress. I have a queen Tuft and Needle mattress that I had to spend an hour shoving into the frame. I measured the frame and while it has a queen width, it is about 2 inches too short for standard queen mattresses! I live 2 hours from the ikea store and didn’t want to take the whole thing apart to return it. So, i shoved the memory foam mattress into the frame. It looked like an odd muffin top puffing out, but it was fine for a while. I recently moved and trashed the frame. I would hesitate to buy an ikea bed again after this experience. And, yes, I doible checked to make sure I didn’t accidentally buy a full frame size.2
Very stylish and durableVeganEmpress1My son sat on this bed in the showroom when we were shopping for my living room. He asked if he could get it and we already knew that he needed a new mattress. I went to the store and bought this frame and a new mattress and threw it into the back of my SUV. I came home and assembled it in just under twenty minutes. I put his bedding on it and fell in love. It's perfect for my 10 year old! He came home from school and was so happy to see the bed that he picked out for himself. Here is what we love: The style, durability, and price. What I don't like is the bed rails seem high along the mattress edges when you sit on the side of the bed. I recommend getting that ESPEVAR mattress bed frame if you want the mattress to be higher off the rail. I went back and got a mattress topper for his new mattress to give it a little more height.5
Simple & stylishhanandoBought this in a king size so the dog wouldn't push us out of bed. He just sprawls out more so I'm not sure that part worked. Bed was very easy to put together & haven't had any problems with it in ~6 months. It is a medium gray color. Only complaint is the mattress slides down toward the bottom & there is just enough room at the top to suck in my pillows.5
Bad DesignSJBRThe legs are slightly flared, I think for design appeal? But all this results in is a dangerous piece of furniture. My elderly mother has broken her toe on this bed frame and I smash my own foot on it almost every time I walk by. The legs are basically an optical illusion and from where you stand they look like they go straight down, but then they don't, and whammo. It's so dangerous I plan to write the company.1
