Product details

The thin stiff felt has little silicone dots underneath that makes sure the drawer mat stays in place without folding or wrinkling.

Not only will the mat stay in place, the felt prevents smaller items from sliding around when you open and close your drawers.

It's easy to cut the mat to the right size and shape. It's perfectly fitted to the largest KOMPLEMENT drawers, 22⅞" deep, and have guiding lines on the backside of where to cut to fit it to the smaller sizes as well.

For extra-large drawers, simply combine two or more mats and cut them to your preferred size. They will still stay in place when placed next to each other.

Great productDennis A.Arrived timely5
Wonderful liner!SUZANNE P.I bought the pull out tray for the Pax System - my husband uses it for keeping our little, favorite items. Concert ticket stubs, photos, tiny toys from our childhoods, etc…..but, if you buy the pullout tray, for whatever reason, you really need this liner to keep everything from sliding around! No cutting necessary! It fits perfectly.5
Love it!!CHANEESEThis closet system is amazing!5
Good productKatieGood product5
Necessity for presentationVerified BuyerI bought two of these to go in my pull out trays. They are great soft and durable surface to lay my glasses, watches, and other accessories that I need access to quickly. The marbled color is very modern as well. On top of this tray is a glass shelf so I can view what accessories I want to use or showcase what I own. The other one is combined with the grid to organize my undergarments and socks.5
RecommendUlrikeWhile I like this insert the price is too high in my opinion. Stars reduced due to this fact.4
Used as Floor MatMinhee S.Couldn't find an entryway floor mat that was thin enough. Used tape to connect about 11 of these and made a nice looking entry way, free of fuss.4
I will never use anything elsePaula M.These drawer liners as well as the others like it are the best to use. I use in all my client's homes. They are pricey which is why I haven't done in my own home yet but will one day. The large sticker is a pain but with this and any other sticker you have an issue with just heat it up with a hair dryer and it comes off.5
Wonderful drawer linersRositaGreat!5
Great product, supply chain challengesGerardGreat product—if you can get it. Understandable, given the supply chain issues.5
Great, except for the large sticker that's impossible to removeBrandon S.We've been using these in cabinets, drawers and boxes. I've also used them as a covering for a pin board, coasters and on the bottom of furniture for scratch resistance. Easy to cut with razor & straight edge or scissors. Unfortunately, IKEA now puts a large sticker on the good side, and it's impossible to remove.2
Needed!BethWay too expensive. Will try to figure out something different next time.3
stiff wrinkle sheet…Brian S.If I knew it was going to be a mailed in a LARGE box. I would expect it to be delivered without any creases or bends. If I’m was able to return it I would. It’s just not worth the cost to return.1
Making drawers nicerTammyLittle more difficult to cut. It has a grid but it would be better if they were marked for each product you have.4
Nice drawer linerVerified BuyerExpensive for what it is, but works well and looks nice4
Komplement drawer linersKIRSTINI’ve used these in every drawer and cupboard of my house! Easy to cut to size, easy to clean, stay in place and make your shelves look finished. They keep dishes from clanking and sliding around and protect wood shelves.5
Tough drawer linersVerified BuyerLove these. So easy to cut to fit. I use these in most drawers and shelves throughout my house.5
Looks greatNicoleThese are such a nice upgrade than contact paper. I have them in my kitchen. Looks great with gray cabinets.5
Even nicer than expected!TMDCAFI bought new furniture and was going to use the clear rubber liners that I used in the kitchen, but I saw these and thought they would be much nicer for clothing. Soft, with non-skid rubber dots on the backing, they are thick, but easy to cut. The color is also a warm gray and neutral. I am now lining every dresser drawer in the house!5

Because one size doesn't fit all

Have a little look around — not too obviously, just a peek. Chances are, even if it's just different colored socks or another color of scarf, there's no one dressing exactly the same as you right now.

Which is why it stands to reason that our clothes storage shouldn't be exactly the same either. It's this idea that led us to develop the PAX/KOMPLEMENT clothes and shoes storage. Designed so that no matter what your passion, fashion or personality, your clothes and accessories will have a practical home.

The evolution of storage

It just takes a look through a photo album to see that some of the clothes we used to love might make us wonder 'what was I thinking?' today. And as the way we dress has changed over the years, so too has our approach to making storage at IKEA. That's why we've designed PAX/KOMPLEMENT clothes and shoes storage to adapt to how you would like to store your things, rather than trying to fit your clothes and accessories into an unsuitable space. An idea that's shaped its whole development.

The only similarity is difference

“Most people dream of having an organized wardrobe where they can see all their clothes and accessories. But that's where the similarities end", says Betina Tviis Larsson who developed the PAX/KOMPLEMENT system. Traditional storage often shoehorns you into doing things a set way, whether its folding t-shirts or sorting out a sock drawer – something Betina wanted PAX/KOMPLEMENT to step away from. "We didn't want to say there's a right way or wrong way to organize your clothes. If you want to hang your jeans by their belt loops we want you to be able to do it”, Betina says.

Multiple personality order

To get the design process off on the right foot, the design team focused on what kinds of storage do different people need. "We started by speaking to a lot different people in the team and around IKEA to try and determine different personalities and different needs", Betina explains. And what we ending up with was this a big inventory of preferences and types of things that needed to be stored". By designing around personalities, the team started to develop types of storage that would fit collectors and families just as easily as minimalists and people with very little space. "The whole idea that defined the project became, don't change your personality, change your wardrobe instead", Betina says.

Fitting in function

Bringing this research together, the result is a series of interior organizers that can be adapted for particular uses, from multi-purpose drawers and hangers, to specific features for everything from shoes, to pants, to jewelry. The idea is that each organizer can be mixed or repeated as you choose, so if you want to store your whole sneaker collection inside, or have everything hanging, you can. "I really like to use space in a good way", Betina says. "With this system you can tailor your one wardrobe frame into hundreds of combinations." So whether you're a 'super organizer' or a 'piler' type of clothes person we hope you'll be able to match your storage to suit your style.

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
