Super spacious. Good price. LoveGENESISSuper spacious. Good price. Love my couch!5
Love itLinaFits our living room space well, couch is comfy, spacious.. need 2 people to assemble this couch for sure.5
Not easy of fast toJoaoNot easy of fast to assemble but still a nice challenge. Sturdy and comfortable, the fabric it’s just a bit itchy, maybe it will last longer.5
Unable to assemble due to poor quality of pieces323mgibsonThe bolt holes that attach the seat bottom to the backrest are wrong, so it's impossible to properly attach the arms or the bracket/connector for the chaise lounge. Unacceptable. On the phone right now to return the item.1
Best sofa everMamahoneybadgerMy husband and I bought this 6 years ago we love it.. we settled on this due to the reasonable price and the ability to take it completely apart to wash as we had babies at the time. This sofa has survived it all. I’m not kidding vomit, spills, pets, you name it and it still looks great! I do rotate and flip cushions and I have a giant quilt that I throw over it when the kids are snacking, but the sofa is quality. I would buy it again in a heartbeat5
LOVE IT!!IKEA sofa loversMy wife and I bought this sectional almost a year ago. We love it. It’s comfortable, easy for my mom to get up from, great for kids, and doesn’t hurt your back when you fall asleep watch Netflix. The ONLY negative thing is the chase base cushion needs adjusting from time to time.5
Comfortable and stylish at first - neither later oLeland_JRI bought this 5-6 years back. For year one, awesome. Fit the space, style and very comfortable. For year two it looked like it had five years of use (and I was rarely at home so this barely got used). Now it looks ready for replacement with misshapen and massively lumpy cushions. It looks like something I dragged off the street. I'm considering trying the warranty although don't expect much. My color (Tullinge) was retired so even if the warranty is honored I'm in a bit of a bind as I doubt replacement parts will be a perfect match. I'd rate this as good for home staging or a rarely used room in a rarely used vacation home (that's not AirBnB'd). Otherwise spend the extra money on something that will actually last. #LessonLearned2
LOVE LOVE LOVEAirN3this was my dream couch. We’re a family Of 8. The three younger kids all fit in this to sleep on slumber party weekend. My man is 6’5 and says it’s ridiculously comfortable. It’s firm enough to feel like a new couch, but gives just enough to also feel comfortable. I am so eager for holiday movies and hangouts because We can all finally fit on it together. I got the dark grey. Spot cleans well & holds true To color. Some minor fading on chaise but it’s where everyone wants to sit. We also have a kitten and the material withstands her occasional claw scratching.5
Wrinkles from the cushions inside, looks terribleHanzTReally strange sofa construction. We took the time to iron all the covers and somehow the cushions are causing wrinkles on the covers. It's really strange and looks terrible. Now it's all assembled and if we want to take it back, have no way of transporting it for a return. What a pain. Really disappointed it looks terrible. BTW, we did our kitchen and lots of other areas from Ikea, and this is the worst thing we own. Kitchen is great.1
Nice sectionalMedelinBought the one in blue with an ottoman and also 2 chairs with the same material. I like it because it’s European style and not like the big american couches. It’s nice but don’t know how it will last after a couple of months. For us it’s very comfortable not too soft and not too firm. For now it’s ok.4
Going strong after 5 years!Pia134We bought this coach over 5 years ago. It was the floor sample! It was white denim which they no longer offer. It looks like a grown ups couch. Looks can be deceiving. 5 years of messy grandchildren and sloppy adults! It's been the bouncy place. It's been the sleeping place. It's been the dinning table for the family. The cushions are as firm as the day we bought it. I strip it, bleach it and it looks like new. I wish they still offered the cover in a strong denim type material.5
No durability, poor qualityMoy67I loved the look, color, design, and fabric for this sofa. It was briefly very comfortable. However, after only a year’s time, all of the back pillows and seat cushions quickly lost their form and don’t stay in place. The fabric actually just split open in places and I never even removed the covers for washing. A zipper busted open. It was not cheap. A sofa of this size and style should be able to accommodate family use, but this sofa in our experience is only good as a show piece.1
Jcrowe817I've owned this couch for 2 years. Recently, it started to make loud noises every time someone sits down and it feels like a 10 year old couch. I'm regretting buying this couch due to the current state of it.2
I regret buying this couchkgillIt was pretty comfortable when we first brought it home. We've got the washable covers and that comes in handy. It's really big and can comfortably sit our entire family. But. The zipper on one of the cushions broke after its second go in the washer. The lining is starting to split where the seat cushions and back cushion meet. The washable covers (yes, I air dry them) fade and get more and more fuzzies with every wash and every passing day. After owning the KIVIK for several years, the cushions are lopsided and squished and will not stay in one position on the sofa. They are constantly sliding to the floor. It looks ugly and it's wildly uncomfortable. I don't enjoy realizing that I'm subtly being deposited on the floor by the sofa, getting off the cushion, repositioning it, and sitting back down every 10 minutes. I can plump and fluff the back cushions every day...but they'll look like great blue lumps within minutes. This wasn't a cheap couch and doesn't receive an unreasonable amount of use. It's only 3ish years old and looks shabby and ratty and vaguely dirty (because of the fading cushions). If I could afford to put it on the curb with a free sign, I totally would. I dislike this thing more and more every day. We purchased IKEA because of the warranty and positive reviews about the furniture from friends. Rest assured this will be the last upholstered thing we ever purchase.1
Comfortable. Looks great in a small space.KCarrWorks perfectly for growing family. Fitting the chaise section to the rest of the couch was tricky and didn’t fit exactly flush without a lot of rejiggering.4
So comfortable!VictoriajvThis is our second kivik. We moved out of state and gave the first one away because we didn’t want to move it. We regretted it after another sofa broke down in less than 2 years. We drove 3.5 hours to get the sectional with chase in dark gray. We put it together in less than 2 hours and everyone approves! Best sofa ever!!5
Love the sofa and adore the chaiseMollypI spend most of my down time on the chaise with a cat and dog piled on. The chaise seat is memory foam so the folks who say the chaise sags are just indenting the memory foam. I don’t have a problem with it and I’ve had it for a year now. This couch is looong. The couch part will seat 3 people comfortably.5
Great for the familyLeelew69I bought this sectional to replace my dual reclining sofs. Best decision of my life. It has great support, stands up to 3 rambucious pups. I love that the covers are removeable and washable. Was very easy to put together. My only recommendation would be to be able to purchase arms for the xhase. We separated the chaise from the sofa for a different look.5
The chaise sagsjfrzrThe chaise started sagging within a couple months of using. At first I thought it was something to do with the construction of the springs underneath, but I've realized it is the cushion. It's not the same cushion as the couch part, which are much firmer and keep their shape. Also the seat covers are hard to keep in place. The seams don't match up in a line. (I'm not sure how to explain that exactly, but it doesn't look good.)1
One week old...looks 15 years old.RyanFTLI knew better than to buy this. You can spend $100 more and get something of drastically better quality elsewhere. The cushion on the lounge looks like someone's been sitting in it for 15 years. And I say that because I had a sectional with a chaise lounge for 12 that never looked this bad...and I've only had this one for a week. I hate it.1
