Terrible back pain-Please do not waste your moneyAlim S.Second submission of review as the first one never got posted. Medium-Firm. Initially purchased this mattress and ended up exchanging in hopes that the sagging issue was an anomaly. Got the replacement (Medium-Firm) and within a month started having the same issues with terrible sagging as with the previous mattress. Consistently wake up with back pain. The whole point of getting the mattress was to avoid having the pain. I would like to exchange it for a different mattress, but looking at the reviews for other Ikea mattress, it appears that every Ikea mattress suffers from the same issue. Please do not waste your money as you will be terribly disappointed.1

I will say, we are both fairly small people (I weigh about 115 lbs and my fiance weighs around 150). That being said we highly recommend it!!5

I read up on mattresses a lot, seems like no mattress is going to be liked by everyone but so far I like this. Mainly bought this and the Zinus 12 Inch Hybrid Mattress (NYT Wirecutter recs) and I like the Hesstun better because it was firmer for me.5
Best mattress of all timeKristen D.I’ve had three thousand dollar mattresses and this is by far the best mattress I’ve ever had. I got the firm and I was nervous buying it online but it’s incredible. It’s really firm yet super soft and comfortable. Does not sink in when you sit on it but also doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on a board if that makes sense? I have scoliosis so my back is so sensitive but I really haven’t had issues since I’ve had this mattress. It even got me through twin pregnancy and that’s saying a lot. I keep telling my husband I want to buy another to keep in the attic just in case they ever go out of stock!! Best mattress ever. You won’t regret it.5

If you’ve never purchased online from this site, PLEASE DO NOT DO SO. If you decide to ignore all of our 1 star reviews, I encourage to please avoid this mattres AT ALL COSTS.
Since day 1, this mattress has been dented from the middle. Me, a person with their first King mattress thought it just needed a little time to adjust, so I gave it time. Waited almost to the 90 days and regreted believing this would at least improve a tiny bit. It is EXTREMELY uncomfortable and the dent in the middle causes me to feel like I will roll out of my side of the bed onto my BF. To save yourself time and problems, just believe all of us when we say this sucks, otherwise you’ll be stuck with EXTREMELY POOR customer service and a terrible mattress.1
We bought 3 of theseMaryWe bought 3 of these mattresses for a new home and they are all great and just right soft and just right firm. IKEA really sells quality for an amazing price. Just don’t ever have anything delivered. They are not fair to the customer when THEY make mistakes. Extremely poor customer service.4
4- months: saggingBrendaWanted to buy another Holmsbu (but it is discontinued). Thought Hesstun would be close to Holmsbu and although the first couple months was great … I now find myself sleeping on the very edge of the mattress to find decent support. Will try Haugsvar next.1
