Have purchased 2 and neither can be put togetherStephanieI have purchased 2 of these and both I have not been able to put together because the hole at the bottom are too small for the screws. It’s impossible to return because the nearest IKEA is many hours away and is very heavy. One of the drawers came warped on the first and another piece bent on the second. I have 2 helmers I purchased several years ago that went together perfectly and have held up great. I don’t know what’s going on. I’m extremely frustrated.

Keeps falling apartMarieI’ve had this for a few months and the pieces that hold the drawers in place keep falling so the drawers fall as soon as I pull on them. I completely regret buying this. The top keeps popping off too

Very frustrating to assembleGreggBeware of Step 12 regarding the initial orientation of the flat drawer sheet metal prior to bending. I think IKEA should add another distinguishing feature, like a hole, that redundantly ensures the customer proceeds correctly. Also? Incredibly difficult to use the screws for attaching the casters. Anyhow, it’s an attractive product but the numerous small metal tabs are incredibly frustrating to bend.

Wow this is impossible to assembleSusana A.Looked great at the store and is perfect size. I bought to go with a desk I also bought at IKEA. I could not assemble this cabinet, will return. Screws did not fit into holes and cabinet walls are very flimsy. Shame because the size and color are perfect. Second time I buy from IKEA in the past 3 months and returned the item due to difficult instructions. The desk however was very easy to assemble.

Careful assembly makes for a quality pieceKierraI'm using two of these as tool/diy project storage in a small apartment that would otherwise have no business housing them. They're doing a great job at it.
It takes time and careful folding/plier work to assemble this. I used a long plastic level on a hard surface to make the longest folds, and curved needlenose pliers and screwdriver to securely set the metal tabs.
They're compact, but can house things like a corded drill, a pile of pliers, and moderately long wrenches, etc. without feeling overloaded. The drawers open quietly and smoothly; an important point since I didn't use the drawer stoppers, to allow access to the entire drawer.
The black looks sharp and blends with the rest of my furniture and decor nicely. The beigey colors seemed dull in person; the new blue color is very pretty.
Recent price increase is unfortunate but not out of line with the proce of just about everything going up.
Overall, I'm very pleased with them!

Frustratingly flimsyAnnaThe top does not securely attach, which is a huge flaw since it should (theoretically) help keep the stability of the frame together. Instead, it slides forward and up/off with any pressure when moving the unit around. The wheels attach via screws, but the screw holes are too small so they barely attach. The drawers are surprisingly roomy, which is nice. Feels like this would be a great value at half the price, but at almost a hundred bucks, the design needs to be more thought through and sturdier.

No longer worth the priceRachelleI own several helmers, and they work well for storing my extensive nail polish collection. I thought these were a great deal when they were selling for around $40-50. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend these at their new $80 price point. The quality just is not there to justify spending that much.
Fits my needsFrenchAs an artist and business owner. I needed small drawers to put all my tools away, at a reasonable price. I was able to pick two while they were on sale. This is perfect.
Horrible assembly experienceDanielI was unable to proceed past step 11. I had no problems assembling the drawer unit for the most part, but when it came time to place the casters, it was clear that the screws are too large to fit into the designated holes. I would love to see someone from their furniture building team assemble this in front of me, because there is no way these screws can fit without a power tool.
i had high hopesDeborahi’m disabled and bought two of these after looking over similar options. my family has spent two hours or more building these only to have the rails all fall out when we get to the point of putting on casters. i’m mystified by how these can be assembled at all and expected to use them daily. i’m ready for there to be a hack to getting them to stay in place bc i love love live the blue.
Perfect Nail Polish StorageLora C.I bought this to store my nail polish collection and they fit perfectly. I would have given this five stars had it not arrived bent and dented in several places. I was able to bend it back into shape enough for it to work. It was easy to assemble and only took about thirty minutes to do so.
