This ergonomic office chair has lots of functions that allow you to easily adapt the chair to your body.

Height-adjustable seat allows you to adjust the height so that back and legs are at a 90° angle.

With automatic tilt tension, your body weight determines how much resistance the backrest offers. This counter-pressure helps you keep an active posture in your chair.

Synchronized tilt mechanism allows the chair to move with you. The backrest moves more than the seat when you lean back, so torso/hips open up. This improves circulation and keeps energy levels up.

As you recline, the synchronized tilt mechanism allows feet to stay on the floor while your gaze remains straight ahead. Your chest stretches without adding pressure on thighs, improving circulation.

Adjustable seat depth enables proper back support and even weight distribution across the seat cushion. This prevents circulation from being cut off at the knees and reduces knee pressure.

Backrest can be adjusted to 5 different heights to provide support in all the right places and helping your body to maintain a naturally good posture.

Exceptionally high quality in the black leatherRebeccaSome of the more recent reviews did leave me a little concerned but I took the risk and ordered this chair in the black leather sight unseen. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was that it was very carefully packaged, better than anything else I’ve gotten from IKEA. When pulling all of the parts out I realized almost everything but the arms is metal…very little plastic. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to unbox, unwrap and assemble. I am super happy that it’s fully and easily adjustable. The leather is very thick with a grain that I’m not afraid to damage and it should break in nicely. So glad I made this purchase! The only alteration I think I’ll make is adding rollerblade wheels haha5

Back tilt not adjustableJuanThe back of the chair is always tilted towards the front (not adjustable) and gives when you lean back on it. This makes it quite uncomfortable.2
Brain-dead castersAlexComfort is up to the user. Personally, I find this chair’s seat bottom too hard. But one thing isn’t debatable: the casters are brain dead. They’re designed to lock when you stand up so the chair doesn’t roll away. OK…but what about when you want to reposition the chair on the floor or carpet? Or when you want to tuck it in under a standing desk? In that case, you are pulling the chair against friction, which can dig channels in the carpeting for example. Plus, the seat bottom fabric comes out of the box not properly stretched across the seat bottom core. Your tush only adds wrinkles over time. Spend your $375 plus tax elsewhere.2

Not the same as previously purchased chairAnnieThe angle of the back is wrong and there is no way to adjust it. It pushes me forward. If I adjust the seat to counteract that, I can't use the lumbar support. I purchased the same chair in 2020 and it does not have this issue. The back angle is perfect and it doesn't push me forward. Payed the exorbitant fee to ship this because I "knew" it would work since I already have the same chair. Obviously, I was wrong. Very disappointed.1
Comfortable & AdjustableJordanBought this in the gunnared option after sitting on every chair in the showroom. It's a bit firm, but not excessively. I work from home often and prefer a bit of firmness and a LOT of lumbar support while I'm seated for long hours. A little expensive but it's very adjustable. - There is a decent height adjustment for people with longer legs. - You don't need to put the arms on if you don't want to. - Backrest can be raised to 5 different locks just by lightly tugging upwards, before resetting to the base height. - The seat can be adjusted forward and backward so you can easily find a sweet spot where the back support feels good. - The fabric pieces on the back rest and seat can be removed via zipper if you feel the need to throw in the wash. (You do have to unscrew pieces of the chair to get to the zippers. A bit of work but doable.) - The seat padding is zippered in an easy access flap. If you ever feel the seat gets flat, I imagine it'd be easy enough to get extra foam to replace.4

I was hoping it'd be better with more padding. Also the seam on the seat is in a terrible spot, not sure what they were thinking when designing that...2

This chair was more expensive but so worth it. Good quality. The seat is not too deep like most office chairs. It has so many adjustments and very comfy. AND it looks amazing!

The chair is comfortable and moves nicely on the casters! We have hardwood floors and the wheels are made of a material that does not mark our hardwoods. I would purchase this chair again.
