Handmade, good quality and awesome designMykhailoThis basket has a very versatile usage. For now, I am using it as our stairs basket. During the day I throw items that need to be carried to the second floor of the house and when I go upstairs, I grab a whole basket or just the items and move them upstairs. It is also useful to store vacuum cleaner attachments if you need to hide them in a place with quick access. The grass it's made of smells very good and I like that is made of natural renewable materials.5

LOVE SMELLmelindamy granddaughter loved the smell of the basket so this will fold down or up. Love the look next to fireplace with blankets inside5
Affordable and trendyMandiThese types of baskets are all over the place. This is such an affordable version of it. However, it is very thin and not durable. It's not for carrying stuff around in. I wouldn't even use it for blankets or anything that requires touching it a lot for fear of breaking it. I'm using it as a pot cover for a plant, which is a perfect use. I pretty much never have to touch it so it should last a long time!5

What is sedge (or seagrass)?

Sedge (or seagrass) grows naturally in South-East Asian coastal areas. For our products, we mainly use cultivated sedge from field areas that have previously been flooded by the sea, making them unsuitable for rice cultivation. Sedge grows well in salty soils and even helps cleanse them. After harvest, the plant is left to dry in the sun making it a hardwearing fiber ideal for weaving or braiding products with beautiful color variations, like baskets and mats.
