Perfect for what I neededCeceliaGreat little table, I use it for my son and two grandsons to do their schoolwork. My son likes to sit on his knees and lean on the edge of the table... it hasn't flipped so the base is really sturdy too!5
Docksta TableBonnieThe table is perfect for two people but at 3 people you’re pushing it to have enough room I wish it was slightly larger and it would be perfect. It is also a little flimsier than I expected but with no small children it shouldn’t be a problem3
LOVEsummerluvinAbsolutely love this table, read other reviews about it being wobbly it wasn’t a hassle for us just a matter of tightening it up with a wrench. We absolutely love this table and paired with chairs we also got from ikea. Definitely a buy for a young ppl who need affordable home necessities.5
HanheI am somewhat disappointed. I love the look of the table, but despite putting it together 3 times the table top wobbles. I don’t know how to fix it and would definitely not recommend it. I normally liked IKEA products and don’t understand why this table is so poorly constructed.2
Pretty but...too heavy and table top pittedImages from OzThe table is very pretty and a good replica of the originally designed, very expensive one. However, the heavy round metal wheel that is installed in the base to keep the table from tipping over, which gets inserted into the stem of the table, is ridiculously heavy and a bit difficult to put together. The table top attaches easily to the base but because it’s so heavy it’s hard to flip over. After using the table top just a few times, a handmade pottery coffee mug caused pitting. Very disappointing. The price point is double the worth of this table in my opinion.2
Cheap lookingJa5780Came cracked and can’t find a way to contact IKEA1
Affordable, Sturdy, & Well DesignedMidCenturyModernGirlLove this table. It's a repro of an Eero Saarinen Tulip Table. I read the negative reviews that said it was unstable and easy to scratch and almost didn't purchase it. IKEA must've addressed these issues because the table I got is awesome. The base is sturdy, it doesn't tilt at all and I had it hanging off my rug for a while and it was still sturdy. It was easy to put together, helps to have two people since the base is heavy, probably why it's so sturdy. I was still able to assemble it on my own, it just took a bit longer. No issues with scratching the surface. And this is the cheapest Tulip Table repro I found for the size and quality. My only gripe is I wish the shipping was free but that's not a huge big deal. Perfect craft table for small areaIhearthomesdfwWe just put this table together and it was easy. I was a little nervous the table would not be sturdy. But, It is sturdy and heavy for a small table. I just wish that it was more of a smooth shiny lacquer. I’m afraid the texture will attract dirt. But overall the table is simple and perfect for what I needed.4
Looks niceJayToroThis table looks beautiful BUT it leans ALOT When you lean on it even if it’s slightly. I’m not expecting for this table to last very long because of this and being that it is a pretty pricey table it should definitely be more sturdy at the top. This table only looks nice and not worth the price.2
