Great sofa at the priceClever NicknameOverall very happy with this purchase. Great value at the price. Pros: 80+ inch width - perfect for naps On the firm side but very comfortable All metal frame - should stand up to abuse Red/orange color looks great in person Light weight makes moving the sofa easy Cons: Back cushions should be stiffer The middle legs are mounted off center The arms should have more padding Side pillows are a necessary purchase4
Perfect for the pricepolaris180Seeing these terrible reviews, I felt the need to provide another perspective: I wasn't ready to commit to a real couch but wanted something that I could lay down on and host friends over night in pinch. The length is impressive as is the construction. No- this is no substitute for an actual couch - it is basically a complicated cot with some padding over the hard points and a slip cover. As such, it is very light and moves easily- points for and against it. All in all -- it's a great value, great size and perfect for the appropriate application.4
Missing partsbecks84I purchased this couch last month and was very excited to receive it. Unfortunately, once I was putting it together I received a duplicate arm cover for the right arm and was missing the left arm cover which halted the assembly process. It was a manually packed piece that was tossed into a plastic bag so I knew it was something I had to order from Ikea and couldn't just go to the store to order. I was on hold for more than 1 hour with customer support to get the part I needed and then once I moved on to the ottoman there were 2 additional cover pieces missing. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and disappointed so I requested for the couch to be returned. It took 2 more calls to actually get it picked up because the return order was not processed the first time. Word to the wise, check every single manually packed piece before the delivery company leaves if possible. Extremely disappointed because it was a good looking couch for a great price.1
The color is the only thing good about this couchYohannaAThis couch literally says it comes in 7 boxes. IKEA delivered 6. Apparently the couch cushions don’t come with the couch, which is equally annoying. My son and I didn’t realize there were no pillows until we’d put the couch together, but obviously a couch is useless without cushions. They have no clue when it’ll be back in stock and there are no comparable pillows. The directions were confusing and the couch is flimsy. This will prob be my first and definitely last time purchasing IKEA furniture. The customer service sucks and they are not accommodating at all.1
Not Worth Its Low Pricesore userBought this to be frugal, will end up wasting time and money returning this. PROS - Fun color, always aspired to have my bachelor pad look like something out of a TV show and this was a step in the right direction. - Cheap (but see title) - Good depth and wide seating space CONS - There may as well be no cushions. I am sitting on it writing this review and the sharp back/frame of the couch is digging into my spine THROUGH THE CUSHIONS AND MY PATAGONIA DOWN SWEATER - Velcro is not strong enough so the seat cushion moves forward a lot. - I am an average sized, 5'11 male but the back height is very low and the back frame is digging into my middle back. I seriously feel like if regularly lean back and try to lean on this couch that I'll get nerve damage in the future. - The seat height is relatively low too. I used to own a Knislinge and put a TV on my horizontal Kallax shelf to watch TV and it was adequate. The seat height on this is about 4 inches lower and I feel like I'm looking up at the same TV setup. - Not that comfy and as a side sleeper I feel like I'd wake up with sore shoulders with the relatively thin seat cushion. Overall, learn from my lesson. Don't bother and stay away.1
