Big enough for a heavy rod.Ann M.We have a heavy rod to hold drapes to go across a window to sheild against bright sun, or cold. These brackets hold a bigger diameter rod to support the drapes. Just what we needed.5
Great plant hangers!Ann M.The simple style and white color are perfect in our sunroom. You can extend the bracket so that hanging plants aren't jammed against the (soon to be cold) window.5
Curtain rod system is BRILLIANT!SueOnce I figured out that this bracket can be used to hold a single rod or, by just turning it in the other direction, it will hold two rods (we put a sheers on the back rod and drapes on the front rod in one room, and used just one rod with drapes in another room). I was truly blown away by this concept- it is the most cleverly designed system for hanging curtains. Another IKEA design that should win a prize!!!5

ikea can do better than thislaineyhanawish id put more thought into this purchase. because we had to use three brackets (due to width of window) the brackets need to mount pretty high above the frame which makes my curtains look ridiculously short. also, with the curtains being the heavy-weight & velvet kind, i end up pulling the rod back and forth when i open them. there is a set screw and gripper material that was included, but it’s really flimsy and not enough to stabilize the rod. two thumbs down. with all the holes in the wall, it’s now a painful reminder to think things through a little better in the future. lessons learned.2
