Great high chair.JakiAmazing value for a great high chair. Highly recommend5
Day 1 and already brokenHillaryOT recommended this high chair so I didn’t really do much research beyond that. I love the price and how easy it can be cleaned. I got the high chair today and watched a YouTube video on how to assemble and remove tray. Somehow the little clips broke on the tray already! Such a disappointment!2

Easy to assemble and clean!SusanEasy to assemble and clean! Great price!!5
Hazard for children LaurenWe purchased this a while ago and just started using it for our one and a half year old. We had it up in our kitchen for not even two hours when my child wanted to go up in the chair abd reached up, grabbed the tray and tried to put a leg up. The entire chair toppled over onto her and the plastic seat and tray hit her square in the mouth and nose. 1
Disappointed AlyssaI’m shocked to read reviews saying the tray is hard to take off because unfortunately my one year old rips the tray off and yeets it across my kitchen. Food everywhere. Pretty bummed.2
GREAT LITTLE HIGH CHAIRSuzanneI purchased this for my daughter, she had a high chair that was such a challenge to keep clean, especially now that my grandson is eating table foods. This high chair wipes off easily and doesn't have all the nooks and crannies to try to get clean. The top pops off easily to rinse off in the sink too. Another plus is she can put it in the back of her car when they are visiting friends so he has his own high chair for eating. The price is right too! Would recommend for a grandparent chair for baby, it doesn't take up a lot of space too.5
Awful TrayEmmaI bought this high chair because it was HIGHLY recommended. I was looking for something that was easy to clean. While this high chair meets that criteria, the tray is terrible. There is no easy way to remove the tray, just using brute force. There are only two small plastic pieces that secure the tray and by having to use force to remove the tray, the small plastic pieces break. Also, everyone stubs their toes on this chair because it takes up a lot of room. We’ve had this chair for less than a month and I’m already looking for another replacement. 2
Good product RosaMy grandson was comfortable on it , not to heavy and stable 5
Not safe for baby over 9 mos. ShaynaTab to insert tray snapped off by baby pushing on tray! I did like the ease of use however! I see many reviews with same issue why isn’t Ikea addressing the tabs snapping off putting the child in danger!1
Works great.SusanWorks great.5
high chairBarbaraperfect for high chair at grandmom's house too.5
Good chair, problem with traySarahOverall I like the high chair. It is small, easy to clean, and has a sleek design. However, the tray is very difficult to get out. I have now purchased two trays and have had the same issue both times. there is a small lip on the tray that is supposed to clip into the seat, but once I take it out to clean the tray and attempt to clip it back in the lips on the tray snap and then the tray does not stay clipped into the base. 3
This is not a greatRobertThis is not a great product, but it does fill a need for a temporary high chair for occasional granddaughter visits.4
My first time buying form IKEA SheniceThis high chair is everything my baby girl love’s it. Easy to put together and to clean off. Please don’t change the price this is really a GREAT buy!❤️5
Great High ChairPeggyThis high chair is easy to clean and easy to get the kids in and out. It is quite roomy so definitely buy the back pad and cover or buy something even thicker to place on back that will fill in seating space a bit. Tray doesn’t slide in real close so the smaller your child is the bigger the gap between the tray and your child . Expect food to drop in that area. The bottom of the legs stick out quite a bit and someone is always tripping on them. We make sure that the high chair is totally out of the way when not in use. Fantastic price! Overall very happy about this purchase4
Bad tray clipsSandraI have only had this for 4 - 5 months and today the tray clips snapped off. This is for a grandchild's use at our house and not used daily and it broke. It had a great review on wirecutter so both we and the parents bought one. NEVER remove the tray unless you have to . I guess we got what we paid for. It is a very stable high chair which the more expensive ones are not.1
Question...stackable?AprilI have one and would like to purchase two more, but with space tight can I stack three chairs with the tray on each one?4

Let the youngest ones join the table

All children, no matter where they grow up, have similar needs the first years – for example to try out new exciting food and practice their eating skills. A good way to learn is to watch how others do. These insights guided our engineer John Forsén as he developed ANTILOP – a highchair that lets children and their parents spend time together around the dining table. Along the way, John also learned that one way to create affordable furniture that simplifies people’s lives is doing things a bit differently.

IKEA products are normally developed through collaboration between a designer and an engineer – the designer does sketches and the engineer makes constructional drawings. But with ANTILOP, John went straight to creating a computer model. "I had an idea of how the finished result should look, so I started by calculating where the legs had to be, and at what angle, to get a safe and stable construction", he explains.

A smart construction led to a low price

To get a low price, a simple construction was needed. "I focused on the necessities. ANTILOP is optimized to be strong and easy to manufacture. The fact that we use plastic and steel, and very little of it, enabled the low price", says John. The construction also makes it easy to bring the chair with you whenever it's mealtime out of the home. Or have an extra chair waiting at the grandparents when the grownups are out for dinner on their own.

A low price, but not at any cost

But the definition of good furniture covers more than a low price. The quality has to be there, too. And it is. We take the toughest demands in each region and by regular quality and safety inspections we make sure ANTILOP lives up to all of them. If a new law or standard is introduced we test the chair again. All in all, ANTILOP shows that doing things differently when creating good furniture can be just the way to do it.
