Love but don't spot clean!FrancescaI loved the set. I love the rougher linen-like texture, and it washed very nicely in the washing machine. But the first time I got a tiny blood stain on the pillow case I pre-washed the stain by hand washing with cold water and a laundry soap bar, I was left with what looks like a bleached patch even though the soap bar is the most neutral you can get (no bleaching agents). So do not scrub stains!3
2nd oneAshleyThese hold up! Definitely your bang for your buck with this product 5
ok beddingJenniferok bedding, wish it were softer3

I love the colorRebeccaAlso got this on sale. Well worth it!!5
Great everyday duvet coverMorganThis cover was a little rougher texture than what I thought the sample was in store but I’m happy with it. It’s very well made and seems to breathe well. It wrinkles easily but I like the crinkle/comfy look on my bedding. I was most concerned with how it would hold up in the washer/dryer but it did great with minimal shrinkage.5
Twin duvet coversJulieBeautiful colors, great fit and perfect size. I purchased the dark pink and dark gray.5
LoveThomasLove but could have a higher count a little rough5
Just what I wantedWandaWanted a white duvet cover and this one is perfect for me. I like that it is 100% cotton. I did not notice any shrinkage after washing and it fits my king bed nicely. Good quality for the price.5
Duvet is a good fit could be softer materialMarilynIts a nice duvet fits well i wish the material was more soft but I think it will hold up very well4
10/10MadelineAMAZING duvet cover, incredible price. This duvet cover was delivered quickly and was exactly what I wanted. High quality "crunchy" cotton feel, fit my queen size duvet perfectly, has not wrinkled, didn't shrink in the washer and dryer. Price cannot be beat. Everything on amazon for a similar price was trash. 10/10!5
No duvet ties?KatelynThere are no ties or buttons in the corners to attach a duvet. The blanket WILL move inside of this and you will have to fix it often. Soft, crunchy cotton feel. Light and airy. Definitely not true white, this is more of a beige/yellow color but I don't mind that so much.3
DuvetNicoleLove the color, great quality! Fits my twin down comforter perfectly.5
Too Small for Standard QueenMeganI really wanted to love this duvet, but the queen size is way too small for my queen bed and after one wash a grey stain appeared on the duvet despite carefully washing the bedding without bleach and with only whites. I contacted customer service and because I washed it, they said there is nothing that they would do.1
Paper thinSylwia K.I thought I will love it. Soft fabric, but paper thin and see through- returned.1
Looks Great!CarolynHappy with the overall look. Washed and dried well and soft to the touch.5

Great quality for the priceErinCan’t get 100% cotton duvet cover for less anywhere really. Only caveat is there are no ties on inside corners. Would be nice if Ikea considered doing that.5
Nice, clean lookPavlinaI was looking for a light-colored duvet set and I’m very happy with the quality of this set. Soft enough, and washes well. The color is just slightly off-white.5
Excellent QualitySusanI absolutely love this duvet cover. It is the third one I've purchased. I think the quality is excellent. It holds up through washing and has a nice weight to it. While it does not have ties in the corners to hold the insert, my medium and heavy weight inserts from IKEA never slide around and stay in place well. The fabric texture, which I LOVE may at first seem scratchy. I however love it. About 5 wash/dry cycles turned to this amazing soft cotton. The cover does not look shabby, pilly, or worn, at all. The only reason I can't give this white one 5* is due to the color as some others have mentioned. Looking at it by itself, it is a bit of an off white color. If you are placing it next to crisp white bedding, it is not going to appear bright white. I ran the cover through a white cycle, hot water, detergent and bleach in my machine before first use. It did dull the color some as I was hoping. It is a great addition to the same Angslilja I own in grey. Now if only I could get a light blue and a fitted cal-king sheet in this same fabric...4

Our take on cotton

We use cotton in many of our products, from sofas and cushions to bed linen and mattresses. It is a soft, durable, and renewable fiber that breathes and is good at absorbing moisture. All these great qualities make cotton one of our most important materials, but it isn’t without its challenges, much having to do with conventional farming methods that negatively impact the environment and poor working conditions for farmers. With our size and production volumes, we want to drive change in the cotton industry.

Working together to drive change

Each year, IKEA uses around 0.5 percent of all cotton grown around the world. This may not seem like a lot, but the number is big enough to drive change in the industry. For many years, we have been working with partners and stakeholders globally to transform conventional large-scale cotton farming and set social and environmental standards for cotton production. As an example, we helped set up the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) who runs the world’s largest cotton sustainability programme. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Today, more than 110,000 farmers have adopted more sustainable farming practices within IKEA projects.

Ensuring compliance throughout the value chain

All IKEA products are produced in accordance with the IKEA IWAY Standard, our Supplier Code of Conduct. It sets out the minimum environmental and social standards expected from our suppliers, including compliance with local laws. We do not accept any form of forced labor, child labor or treatments in breach of our supply chain requirements. Our cotton teams across the globe ensure that all cotton used in IKEA products meets the demands of compliance in our supply chain. By having teams on the ground in areas where it has previously been challenging to work responsibly, we can challenge the traditional ways of working and improve the industry. If we discover that we are acting in places where we cannot ensure our requirements are being met, we follow-up on the ground and drive change.

What is cotton?

Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibers. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.
