IKEA recalls LETTAN mirrors due to laceration hazard

IKEA is announcing a voluntary recall of the LETTAN flat mirrors bearing a date stamp before and including 2105 (YYWW). The fittings that attach LETTAN mirrors to the wall can break and cause the mirror to fall posing a risk of laceration.
The recalled mirrors have been sold in US stores and online between December 2019 through October 2022 for about $29.99 to $55.99. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mirrors and contact IKEA to order replacement wall fittings free of charge. Instructions on how to safely disassemble the mirror are provided below.

The number of fittings required will vary based on the size of the mirror, so customers should check their mirror and assembly instructions before placing an order.
