Not bad, could be improvedPatrickPros: Easily interchangeable seat cushions of different designs and material. Comfy. Well-priced. Cons: This is supposed to be a classic, but there are several silly design flaws. The seat cushion's held by velcro strips to the suspension straps, so over time it slides down, making those peeling, crackly noises as it does. I'd have added a couple of simple self material tie-down straps to the back, in addition to the velcro. There are 2 plastic anti-tipping pieces attached to the leg frame in front. These are ridiculously unsightly. Surely the entire upper front of the frame could have been cantilevered slightly backwards, while extending the base frame, to retain comfort while practically eliminating tipping risk?3

What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. We often use wood like birch, beech, ash and even bamboo – and strive to use the raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste. Just like solid wood, it has natural variations in structure and colour.
