If you want to be able to easily change the brightness according to mood and needs, you can dim the lamp wirelessly if you complete with TRÅDFRI dimmer kit. Sold separately.

Designer thoughts

"GRÖNPLYM is one of several decorative wall lamps that I designed for IKEA. It was already decided that it would be in metal when I started sketching. I wanted to use the material in a way that could create both a pleasant silhouette of light and a beautiful lamp. By making the shades in three levels, I got the light to spread softly and create a nice atmosphere in the room, while giving the lamp a timeless shape with clean lines."
