Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

When designing VAMDRUP rug, I wanted it to create a handcrafted feel – full of character. I studied traditional Scandinavian weaving techniques and decided to do a modern take on the old Monk’s Belt pattern. I enlarged it and experimented with different colours and opted for warm, neutral tones that give the rug a fresh, up-to-date look. I hope that people become curious and inspired by this handicraft made from durable wool that will last for many years.
